A woman on a flight to Iceland decided to test herself during flight to see if she had COVID after her throat started to hurt and the test came back positive. She informed a flight attendant and was asked to stay in the bathroom for the remainder of the flight. And she did. Four hours.

Amazing. Why would she even tell the flight attendant that she tested positive for COVID? She’s already on the flight and there’s nowhere for her to go. Well, except the bathroom. Sheesh. And she was willing to accommodate and stayed in there the entire time.
I guess it can be said for her that she did put the welfare of others over that of herself, and that is commendable. But also a little absurd.
She’s been quarantining in her hotel room in Iceland ever since the flight, which was on December 20th. I guess she’s a free woman again today.
