WOOPS? John Bolton’s yellow pad may have revealed possible military plans for Venezuela!

John Bolton doesn’t strike me as the careless type, but during today’s briefing he was holding a yellow notepad that had a message scribble on it regarding troop movements:

The speculation is that this has to do with Venezuela.

Here’s more:

NY POST – National-security Adviser John Bolton was spotted on Monday holding a notepad with the words “5,000 troops to Colombia” scrawled across the top of the front page in blue ink.

Bolton’s cryptic message was revealed while he was announcing sanctions on Colombia’s South American neighbor, Venezuela.

The penalties raised the possibility of a military intervention if President Maduro did not cede power in the oil-rich country.

When asked for comment on the “troop” note, The White House would only reiterate Bolton’s message during the press conference that “the President has said, all options are on the table.”

An administration confirmed to Fox News that the scribbled remarks were related to the situation in Venezuela. It wasn’t clear, however, if Bolton intended the message to be viewed by the public.

Was this an intentional message to Maduro or did Bolton get careless?

Either way, the message from Trump that ‘all options are on the table’, along with the knowledge that this message was about Venezuela….well that should send shivers down the spine of Maduro.

At the very least we are gonna be prepared for anything, especially in regard to our diplomatic people on the ground over there.

But if I were Maduro I’d relinquish control of the country and head for Turkey, where they appreciate a madman dictator.
