It’s a day before August and Trump’s approval just slipped into the 30s in the Rasmussen daily presidential tracking poll:

Here’s what Rasmussen had to say about it:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 39% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Sixty-one percent (61%) disapprove.
The latest figures for Trump include 26% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 49% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -23.
The latest findings mark the first time Trump’s overall approval rating has slipped below 40% in Rasmussen Reports tracking.
As the Daily Mail recounts, it wasn’t long ago that Trump was touting the Rasmussen approval rating:
The new Rasmussen Poll, one of the most accurate in the 2016 Election, just out with a Trump 50% Approval Rating. That's higher than O's #'s!

I’m sure there are multiple reasons for Trump’s downward trend in the polls recently, including the inability for Congress to pass Trump’s agenda. But if I had to bet, I’d say the single biggest factor in this is likely his unpresidential personality in general, and also when it comes to attacking those in his own administration, like Jeff Sessions.
Trump once told us he could be presidential if he chose to do so. Certainly he is at least some of the time, but he really needs to figure out how to do it all of the time. Just a guess here, but if he does, then he’ll see his ratings start to trend back upward.
