Wounded vet Dan Crenshaw appalled by ‘disgusting, dishonest’ tactics of AOC, Omar, and MSM… we all should be

By now you know most of the story of how the liberal media colluded with freshman Democrats Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar to pretend 9/11 doesn’t matter, and also that Dan Crenshaw doesn’t care about 9/11. It’s that special kind of two-faced self-contradictory crap that Democrats get away with all the time, but in this case they used the worst terror attack in American history to play their despicable games, and smeared a man who lost his eye defending the country while they were at it.

Well Dan Crenshaw is speaking out about it, as he darn well should. The Congressman posted the video of his interview with NBC, and expressed his disbelief at the “new low in partisanship & dishonesty” that has been on display through this outrageous episode.

“Don’t double down. Don’t play the victim card. Don’t start making accusations at me. I just think that was uncalled for. This is the height of partisanship,” he said.

Man that is right on. It’s hard to believe, but even after all the terrible behavior of the last two years, this is the worst of all. It may seem like exaggeration to say that, but the factors involved, from the fact that it’s 9/11 to the rewriting of history to the smearing of a vet, and combined with the fact that they would go THIS far to win an argument that they didn’t even have to have if she’d just said she regretted her poor choice of words … it shows they are reaching new lows. Just like he said. The lowest.

  1. I went to twitter to catch up… they are actually defending Omar belittling 9/11. I am certain every American was shocked and devastated when it happened. How could they now take the side of someone who would mock the dead the way she did, and giggle about being afraid of Al Qaeda. I don’t understand why she’s even in Congress.

  2. Since she hates America why doesn’t she leave and take her hat with her….she is disgusting but keep your eyes open this is only the beginning of their sharia agenda in my humble

    1. @desireeodey Supposedly, there are many new freshmen veterans in the House. I don’t hear the Dem side of them standing up and calling these disgusting reps out. Why not? They’re scared of them.

    1. He’s quite Reagan-ish as far as I can tell. Although Reagan didn’t get shot up while in the military – he waited to get shot up when he was President.

  3. Those of us who are former NeverTrump didn’t enjoy 2016 that much, 2020 is going to be different 🙂

Trump is a political brawler. He’s thrown the rulebook in the dumpster & the Libs, & the media, don’t know how to handle it. The latest immigration proposal has them painting themselves in corners, entirely unsure of how to respond. It’s no-holds-barred through 2020, get ready.

    1. I was in that camp. At one time I thought I was NT, but as it turns out I was RT (ReluctantTrump). I may not agree with everything he does, like a normal reasonable person, but I’m glad he’s president instead of Hillary, and he has done some good things. Even things that other presidents have only talked about. And compared to the loony Democrats I would vote for him again in 2020 without hesitation.

    2. Yep, in 2016 when I mistakenly thought that Trump would govern as a liberal, the tactics he used just made it that much more galling.

Now that I know that his policies tend to be Conservative, I say “let him go after the Dems”. I fully support his being every bit as mean and nasty as they are. Decades of our taking the high road have gotten us nowhere. It’s time to take the gloves off and go toe-to-toe with the progressives.

    3. When was Dan Bongino ever a NeverTrumper? As I recall he was a sub on Hannity’s show early and often; that never changed; and Hannity would never have a NeverTrumper on his show. No one who is a NeverTrumper on Twitter sees ol’ Dan as a turncoat — he never played for the NeverTrump team or even the thoughtful critics’ team. He’s been Team Trump all the way. But hey, that’s why he has the rep he does with folks who write for the National Review.

  4. Good Saturday Morning! Here is an interesting thread I read this morning on Twitter. Enjoy 🙂

So anybody giving any thought to what Obama’s former top White House lawyer might spill if they manage to flip him?

So what was the FIRST PRECEDENT that the Mueller Team, in it’s apparent zeal to get scalps, set in stone?

Illegally lobbing in Washington DC without having registered as a foreign agent is A Very Bad Thing.

    Brian Cates

    @drawandstrike

What was the SECOND PRECEDENT the Mueller team set?

“Attorney Client privilege, what’s that? Who cares!”

They raided Cohen’s office and they took everything.

      1. That’s where the writers for this site get most of their news. See it all the day before on Twitter.

  5. If these 3 “ladies” really want to take on Dan Crenshaw, lets have a face to face debate. Dan Crenshaw will mop the floor with their ignorance all while speaking softly, eloquently and politely. Dan Crenshaw for President.

    1. @markwright And that’s what we’ll think. What’s a mazing is the number of morons who would think the ladies wiped the floor with Crenshaw. The drooling adoration of the deceived masses is something out of a horror movie.

  6. Those 3 female Dems put together don’t have the class that Crenshaw has in his pinky finger.

  7. Two interesting developments have emerged since 9/11. 1) Muslims as a whole never condemned or denounced the Islamic terrorists who attacked America that day. Not publicly or largely in any meaningful way. The “religion of peace” was silent. 2) Now we have democrats also attacking America (with their words and lies) and once again, their peers are silent. These devils share the same quiet approval for their aggressive peers that muslims did after 9/11. It’s shameful and ominous.

    1. Factionalism among Muslims is nasty, brutish, and long-standing. We’ll never see (in a generation) any blanket condemnation of the 9/11 jihadists.

Some of that is because it’s a tool of divisiveness among Muslims. Some is because of general fear. Some is just sheer complacency. A lot is now in the hands of the media.

I mean, how freaking stupid is it for the GBLT left to make common cause with radical Islam? I can’t think of anything more stupid in history, and history encompasses a lot of stupid.

    1. We still get a few. I’m not sure what they hope to accomplish.

Let me rephrase that: whatever they hope to accomplish, it will never happen.

      1. I went there a few times. I have never seen such hatred for a man in my life. They not only hate Trump and quite a few have admitted so, they also have a certain disdain for those who claim to know Christ as Savior.

They go there day in and day out and make fun, curse, and post some the the vilest photo shopped pictures of Trump and anyone even remotely associated with him and then sit back and post about how unchristian we are.

Trump is not my cup of tea exactly either, but since I do know Christ as my Savior I choose to pray for him and trust that God knows what he is doing. I have no doubt God knows whats best.

          1. No! I find it to vulgar and hateful not to mention hypocritical and I’m not exactly a Trump fan.

    2. My TDS is in remission.

I’m still not ready to don the MAGA or board the Trump , but I will support his campaign by stressing how crazy…not just crazy, but off their rocker crazy…the left has become.

He wasn’t my first choice for the Republicans to nominate for POTUS but I’ve accepted he is who we have. He may not be my favorite but the alternative is terrifying.

      1. I’m still not ready to don the MAGA or board the Trump , but I will support his campaign by stressing how crazy…not just crazy, but off their rocker crazy…the left has become.

I won’t. Supporting crazy to challenge crazier is insanity.

I’m done playing that game. I won’t vote for sh*t ever again. If that means I’m throwing my vote away on someone who won’t win, or sitting at home in disgust – then so be it. However ineffective and meaningless it might be, for the rest of my life, I’m only voting for what I stand for. If nothing else, I get to sit back and say, “Don’t look at me – YOU asked for this, not me.”

      2. Ditto, At a certain point a person becomes so NeverTrump that they start cheering the opposition. I’ve seen them at the other site, whose name shall not be spoken, talk about impeachment and salivating at seeing Trump’s taxes. Who does this remind you of? They are literally turning into the enemy, and they don’t even realize it.

      3. If one openmindedly looks at the Trump Presidency in light of
what has been accomplished in so many areas and acknowledges
the uplifting spirit permeating throughout the country after so
many years of an anti American occupying our White House, you would
have to admit that Trumps appeal rests not on his being the better
of two evils but on our good fortune to have the right person
at the right time. Crudeness. What some see as a detriment
some more rightly acknowledge it as an effective asset.

  9. Since there’s no recent open thread, and it’s late, and this thread is about venting at garbage “Democrats”**, go ahead and treat this like an open thread (unless Fred puts up an Open thread).

** I’m fairly certain that the Democrat Party is appalled at the sewage that has crept into the limelight on their side. The #FakeNews media is even an enemy of the center left.

    1. I’m sure they are appalled. But why? Look at what they have been courting all these years.

Ita chickens coming home to roost.

  10. Smearing a vet?? They hate defenders of this country and our constitution! NYS, where I live, just passed a new law. Are y’all sitting? Children of killed military can no longer get assisted college tuition. However, children of illegals CAN get assisted college tuition. We are so fu*ked!

    Cruz/Crenshaw 2024

    1. Can’t have both Cruz and Crenshaw on the ticket since they’re both from Texas and we need Texas for either of those guys to win.

  11. And boy does Rep. Crenshaw have the moral fortitude, courage, and actions to back his words up! I’m really appreciating this man more every day!

      1. He wont. There is nothing that any of the swamp creatures can do to really intimidate him. He fears non of them because he has faced real fear and terror and beat it bloody. Dan Crenshaw for President.

  12. @central valley……Cruz/Crenshaw would be my first choice but would happily support H/C!
Great weather here on the left coast!
    Blessings!

  13. Long the rule when abusing social media:
Do not poke sticks at dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

  14. It occurred to me is that Omar probably couldn’t have cared less about 9/11. In fact it wouldn’t surprise me if she were one of the people cheering when it happened.

  15. Has anyone noticed that there are hardly any #NeverTrumpers left on this forum? Two years ago that was practically all there were. I just realized how much better I like it here now.

    1. That’s because they have their own site now. They’re still out there, though I would say they are in the minority.

      1. Right, I know, I think it’s called News Blenders or something like that. I was invited there, but I don’t want anything to do with it. I could never understand the nonstop trashing of the candidate of your own party’s standard bearer rather than the other party and the things they stand for.

            1. Yes.

I think he’s done praiseworthy things, don’t get me wrong. But I think he’s terrible. Not just as a human being, but for the effect he’s had on the American people. I don’t think we’re ever going to recover from the damage he’s done on that front.

                1. He’s taught the right that the way to “win” is to act like leftists. He’s convinced the right that they have to “win” the race to the bottom of the barrel. He’s destroyed the moral high ground that the right used to hold, as he convinced them all into believing that the ends justify the means. He gave them a shortcut to getting what they want, and all they had to do was sacrifice principle and integrity. And they were so beat up and so desperate after 8 years of Zero, that they took it. And in doing so, he nailed the last stake in this society ever returning to anything close to what the Founders envisioned.

    2. I was never trump when I saw how he trashed Ted Cruz in the primary. I also thought he would be a liberal since he had no prior conservative record. But after his first year in office that all changed for me. I still don’t like how he treated Cruz but it looks like they’re both past that. Trump has governed more conservatively than Ronald Reagan. Plus he is freeking hilarious. I will definitely vote for him in 2020.

      1. Agreed. I also stopped watching Fox after 2016. They were pushing Jeb, then saw he had no chance, so they went to Rubio. They saw Rubio was doing badly so they split their fandom between Trump and Kasich until Kasich started eating in front of people. They spent most of the 2016 campaign sh*tting on Cruz, and became Trump news. People like Hume, Gutfield, and Perino have always hated Cruz, but then you started seeing the whole gang dog-pile. I left and don’t regret it one bit. I get better info from Vincent James, Tim Pool, Steven Crowder, Ben Shapiro, and Stephan Molineux than any of the Fox clowns. (Tucker is the one exception.)

    3. I suspect they do too. Echo chambers are comfortable. Like safe spaces.

One thing I like about the Scoop/Soop dynamic is that it helps prevent this place from becoming that way. I actually wish we had a few leftists on this site too (in the comments, I mean) – but I get the feeling they’d be driven off rather quickly.

      1. You don’t find too many forums with a lot of political diversity, because like you said, one side tends to get driven off. I don’t mind a diverse forum in some cases, but the name of this one is The Right Scoop, and it’s for a reason. So I wouldn’t be too quick to welcome any lefties here. I think we can share diverse opinions within the scope of conservative thought without it becoming an echo chamber.

        1. Mm, I hope so. I get the impression that it’s starting to slip in the comments section. I’m starting to kinda feel like Abe Lincoln in the ERB between Trump and Hillary, y’know?

    4. Many of us have seen the aftermath of the election and had eyes opened even more than previously. In 2016 Trump behaved in disturbing ways that indicated disaster ahead – but that was not borne out and he has changed in some ways. It is clear, in a way that it was not previously, that the Bolsheviks are many and they truly do want to subjugate us. Thus Trump is our only hope right now. But it still feels like walking a tightrope as we wait to see what the next tweet is.

I mean, how freaking stupid is it for the GBLT left to make common cause with radical Islam? I can’t think of anything more stupid in history, and history encompasses a lot of stupid.

  31. I can only say that the witches known as: Omar, AOC and Tlaib are wretched and grotesque, dishonorable, disgusting, etc., so many times. And they are. And they KNOW it. And so does the damned, criminal MSM. And they are allowed to continue spewing their idiocy, hatred, divisiveness and other vile poisons, unchallenged. Uncorrected. Unaccountable. So once again, the MSM proves what an enemy to America they are.

Major kudos to Crenshaw for calling out Omar. Someone who I personally consider to be unamerican, and a potential muslim extremist. She should not be in our government.

    1. Well, we already had the horrible female Ghostbusters, so I guess they make the horrible female Three Stooges.

  32. Omar, AOC, Tlaib are the people who hate this country but they are extraordinarily adept at turning the tables to make us appear to be the haters. We need to find a way to fight this. Crenshaw’s righteous honor, dignity and integrity are lost on them and the entire Left. These are bad people on the Left, as Nunes says. (He said that about Schiff and Swalwell, specifically. But it’s true of their entire ranks-top to bottom. IMO)

It’s not just those 3 alone acting in the height of partisanship. The entire Democrat House tacitly approves their sentiments by not calling them out directly. Pelosi fashions a resolution to condemn White Nationalists as “punishment” for Omar’s anti-Semitism. Rep Max Rose, blusters on and on about how moderate and fair he himself is, yet he (a fellow warrior) doesn’t stand with Dan Crenshaw in calling these 3 out. Tulsi Gabbard? Crickets.

Are there any truly honorable Democrats out there? Stand up and show us your face, while you blast your own for their heinous behaviors.

    1. @golfcartone cart In a “normal” world Tulsi Gabbard would be getting some traction, except for the fact she doesn’t really have enough executive experience. I have heard her speak out in an independent way (but still a Dem, don’t get me wrong) but she doesn’t get any coverage.

      1. @nc-checks-and-balances I’ve heard her speak out about religious liberty attacks. And of course, her views on Syria. But I haven’t heard anything on these 3 subversives in the House. I’d be curious what her view is. If she were a strong leader, she could round up her “moderate vets” and condemn those three, if she believes they’re wrong. I don’t know where she stands on that.

  33. They’re going for the voters who wouldn’t remember 9/11 clearly and hoping to get more in the coming years.

    1. @renny It’s scary to think that today’s brainwashed college students have no first hand memory of 9/11!

  34. There isn’t a time in history where the left has not said or done whatever was necessary to grab or hold power. Imagine what these animals would do if they had a military dictatorship behind them?
This is why they want your guns.

  35. Notice that the first two islamosavages in Congress are women? No one would take this crap from a man. Just wait, though. I’m sure that we’ll have them and they’ll be even worse.

    1. I think we’re getting close to the UK. The more muslim voters we have the more muslims will get put into office…

    2. First in Congress? You sure about that? I seem to recall there was once a guy called Hussein who ran for Senate…

      1. I believe that he’s a socialist first. If he is an islamosavage, he’s in the closet.

  36. It’s just despicable how coarse and low the discourse has become in this country. And I’m sorry, it is due to the media and now these freshmen democrats that have taken it to a new low. They have no love for the country they are serving and I don’t believe they should be in congress, but we know the Communists have fully taken over the Democrat party, so this is what we get.

I pray that enough Americans wake up to see the “crazy” that the democrats are. God Bless Congressman Crenshaw. He is a patriot and doesn’t pull any punches. Thank you for calling out what is happening, and thank you for serving in that cesspool called Congress every day. I’m sure it’s discouraging seeing all of the negative traitors that are there trying to undermine our Republic day in and day out.

My niece has a good friend who is serving as an aide to the new Senator from South Dakota. This past Christmas, when we saw her, she said that it was like high school in Congress with immature antics, cliques, and she couldn’t believe that these people were actually elected to serve the country but were so immature. Here is a 20 year old that has more moxie and maturity than probably the majority of some of these idiots in Congress. Until people wake up, it’s just going to keep getting worse. We need more Dan Crenshaws and less Ocasio-Cortez, Tlaib and Omars. God help us! :praying:

  37. Dan Crenshaw is a noble and decent man. And though he advocates for coming together, probably knows the noble and decent can never come together, on virtually anything, with rats such as Omar. For in order to do so all attributes of the good and noble would need to be renounced.

    1. @desireeodey Supposedly, there are many new freshmen veterans in the House. I don’t hear the Dem side of them standing up and calling these disgusting reps out. Why not? They’re scared of them.

  38. “Man that is right on. It’s hard to believe, but even after all the terrible behavior of the last two years, this is the worst of all.”
    —————————-
I agree 100% with you, Fred. And we have seen Kavanaugh, the Covington kids, Caravan denials and much, much more. But this did seem to hit a new low that hardly seems possible.

When we were attacked on 9/11, it was less than a year after the contentious Bush/Gore election of 2000 which split the country worse than in living memory, the effects of which are still being felt nearly 20 years later because the Left never could get over it.

But on 9/11, and for a little while afterwards, most of us forgot about our political differences and we united as Americans, grieving for the unimaginable loss of so many of our own, unprovoked. And every year, on the 9/11 anniversary, and I would assume at the Memorials in New York and in Pennsylvania, people of all stripes come to pay their respects and remember.

So yeah, to belittle our National loss of 9/11 is indeed a new low. One that a true American would NEVER sink to.

    1. One would hope so. Unfortunately this is not your Uncle Hubert’s Democrat Party. I’ve given up on compromise. Time to crush them utterly. Trump is the guy who can do it. And I certainly look forward to a President Crenshaw to continue the reformation for years to come.

    2. I gave up on Jon Stewart and the Daily Show for good back in the day when he spent the 5th anniversary of 9/11 hurling cheap partisan slams at Republicans. F that noise.

    3. There is no compromising with people that swear an oath to the death of America. That’s why it sickens me to see two islamo savages in our government.

          1. @conserve-58 Well, maybe I spoke too soon, but it looked like two of you responded to me mentioning the word compromise. Musta been a coincidence. Sorry!

  39. Notice how *most conservatives respond to any insult or criticism vs the left?

We just brush it off or make focused, and sometimes humorous points to refute them.

The left immediately goes to their deck of cards to find the best victim card.

*This continues to be one of my issues with Trump’s Tweets. I wish he’d use a less petulant tone. It’s just my personal opinion and I won’t argue with someone if they disagree with me. I like that he fights back… Just not the style in which he does it.

      1. I had no idea how much of a straight-up conservative across the boards he is policy-wise until I went through his record recently. He’s the real deal as far as I can tell. And handsome and charismatic and a war hero to boot.

    1. He’s quite Reagan-ish as far as I can tell. Although Reagan didn’t get shot up while in the military – he waited to get shot up when he was President.

      1. Cruz is nearly the perfect conservative with the near-perfect record as far as I’m concerned. But Crenshaw has that TV charisma factor that doesn’t just come along every day. He’ll be one to watch for sure.

          1. Ted Cruz says he’s not interested in becoming a justice. Hopefully, we will see him in the White House sometime soon.

  40. Democrats engage in sleazy partisan tactics. Republicans defend themselves and the media pounces. Spineless lickspittle decry partisanship “on both sides” because they’re not really paying close attention or they’re cowards or they want to pretend they’re above the fray. This same scam has been playing out for decades and growing worse with every new iteration. The lickspittle need to wake up and quit being manipulated.
