Megyn Kelly interviewed the lawyer for Stormy Daniels, Michael Avenatti, and basically made him look pretty bad throughout the entire interview. The best part, however, is when her lawyer actually referred to Daniels as a ‘principled woman’, and the entire crowd LOL’d!
I know it’s 14 minutes but it’s really worth watching. If not the whole thing, at least most of the it:
Kelly truly doesn’t understand why Avenatti and Stormy don’t just return the money, instead of ‘offering’ to return the money. It becomes obvious that this is just political maneuvering and not a sincere move.
Kelly does suggest that most people believe the affair happened, but also points out that Stormy signed the contract and took the money because she wanted it. And because she took the money and honored the contract, it’s hard to argue that the contract isn’t binding. In fact, Kelly doesn’t even believe it matters that Trump didn’t sign the contract, because Cohen did sign it and it is easily enforceable as a contract between Stormy and Cohen.
Whether you like Trump and Cohen or not, Kelly suggests it’s unfair for Stormy to take the money and the start blabbing about it on 60 minutes.
