This debate between Porny Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti and famed iconic civil rights lawyer Alan Dershowitz gets pretty personal.

At one point Dershowitz says “I’ve been teaching legal ethics for thirty years” when nailing Avenatti for having what sounds like an unethical meeting with Cohen apart from his lawyers’ consent. When Avenatti says that he had Cohen’s permission to do it, Dershowitz smiles and says that’s not enough.
If we go by who was more aggressive and who tossed more insults, then Avenatti won – but that’s usually a sign that the logic is not on your side. I’ve heard from a lot of experts that what Avenatti did was unethical, and he doesn’t seem like the squeakiest clean of lawyers.
But he’s got a point – he’s made a few predictions that came true weeks later… also, #MAGA!!!
