I know I’ve already posted on this topic but this video of CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe grilling Karine Jean-Pierre is very much worth watching.
O’Keefe was asking KJP about the neurologist visits to the White House and, of course, we told you earlier that she used the excuse of ‘privacy’ and ‘security’ to keep from revealing any of the details.
But what is so remarkable is that O’Keefe wouldn’t just accept her pablum response and forcefully grilled her over her lies about the neurologist.
At one point O’Keefe explained that he as miffed at the lies told by this White House until now about Biden and that’s why he was being so forceful at trying to get an answer on this.
The NBC reporter next to him, Kelly O’Donnell, actually came to his aid when KJP claimed she couldn’t reveal any of this over privacy reasons.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this in the White House press briefing. If only this was more the norm…
