John McCain once again attacks Ted Cruz’s filibuster and the idea of repealing Obamacare as a ‘fools errand’. Big surprise. But he does it with the WRONG facts. He was there when Obamacare passed and should remember that it was passed by Harry Reid under budget reconciliation because Scott Brown was elected. Brown’s election to the Senate gave the GOP filibuster power and in order to circumvent it they needed a way to pass it with a simple majority. Thus they rammed it down our throats via budget reconciliation. And because they passed it with a simple majority this way, it can be repealed with a simple majority.
Sorry John McCain, you get an ‘F’ on this one.
