[UPDATE: Morning Joe hits back, then gets TORCHED by Cruz] – Ted Cruz RIPS Morning Joe for still pushing phony Kimmel video of Mike Pence

Morning Joe is still pushing that garbage video from Jimmy Kimmel of Mike Pence, even after Kimmel admitted it was wrong and quasi-apologized for it:

 
Ted Cruz just nailed him for it, saying “When you’re on the defensive for being dishonest & corrupt, perhaps best not to forward fraudulent stories from Jimmy Kimmel (that he’s admitted were false)? You are claiming to be a journalist, after all….”

 
Cruz also responded to Kimmel’s quasi-apology: “So @JimmyKimmelLive your video falsely accusing @VP has 3.5 million views. Your text “apology” admitting your attack was entirely false…has fewer than 5k likes. Typical.”

Ain’t that the way it always goes? Fake news always gets far more attention than does the correction, which is why people should try harder to get it right the first time. Mistakes always happen, but what Kimmel did wasn’t a mistake. It was just shoddy work.
