WATCH: Ted Cruz goes toe to toe with Chris Cuomo over ‘gun control’…

Ted Cruz was on with Chris Cuomo this morning after his big election victory last night, when the subject turned to gun control.

Here’s how it went:

Cruz is exactly right to point out that Democrats and the media seem to always want to target law abiding citizens instead of focusing on what actually might work to keep these mass shootings from happening.

As Cruz argued his Grassley/Cruz bill that was filibustered in the past might have aided this particular school with the needed funding to have two resource officers at the school, as they certainly needed.

I hope Cuomo does what Cruz suggests, and asks Senate Democrats why they filibustered a bill that could have saved lives.

As an aside, Cuomo also tried to put Cruz on the spot about an ad he ran last night after his big election victory, the mocked O’Rourke’s first name or something:

Here’s the ad if you want to listen to it:

It’s just a bit of celebratory mocking after a big election win. It’s not ‘criticism’ as some are trying to frame it.

But this appears to be all the Democrats have last night after they realized just how bad their chances are at beating Cruz in November.

As a bonus, if you’re up for it, here’s 27 minutes of Ted Cruz on with MSNBC this morning. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but I’m sure it’s awesome. At least that’s what I’ve heard:
