Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs accurately reported that Kamala Harris faced blowback and mockery for her ridiculous French accent moment overseas. The embarrassing and frankly painful to watch clip could speak for itself, but lots of people, including us, explained the very obvious wrongness of Kamala’s latest cringe moment.
Jacobs tweeted a clip of Harris using the same weird pronunciation later from a stage. It’s important to point out that this MSM reporter offered no criticism of Harris, nor any support for critics. All she said was that the same thing that people called a French accent earlier was the same thing that Harris said later on a stage.
The @VP again used the "thee" pronunciation for the word "the" when making a point. Some critics have claimed she appeared to adopt "a fake French accent" when she said "the plan" during a tour of a research lab on Tuesday. Today at Paris press conference, she said "the topic." pic.twitter.com/v54sLW3LZr

This was innocuous. More than that, it was ACCURATE. Nevertheless, Kamala’s protectors in the press are so rabid and avid that they pounced on Jacobs anyway. Starting with the awful Maggie Haberman of the awful-er New York Times.
Where are these critics? https://t.co/ipE9kORJCO

That snotty question went mega viral as every Democrat and mediaite hack in the world jumped on the bandwagon.
The answer was really obvious, though, so Jacobs shared it for their sake.
For those of you who missed some of the context on this frivolous social media debate, do a google search https://t.co/qvsx4YBc9b pic.twitter.com/2Lyc4ip6VP

I love that she dug at them for being frivolous AND too stupid to do a Google search. She also pointed out that reporting doesn’t always reflect opinion, despite the fact that people like Haberman think it should.
FWIW, as a reporter in the room for both sets of remarks by the VP, I heard zero French accent in her words.

The dumbest controversy but it shows how far the supposed objective press will go to defend a Democrat EVEN FROM SOMEONE WHO WASN’T TAKING A SHOT.
