BOOM! Gov DeSantis responds to Trump smearing him as a ‘groomer’

We told you yesterday about former President Trump using his Truth Social account to smear Governor DeSantis as a groomer and a pedophile.

Well, of course, DeSantis was asked about the smears this morning by a reporter during his presser unveling the largest tax relief proposal in Florida’s history.

Here’s how DeSantis responded:

“I spend my time delivering results for the people of Florida and fighting against Joe Biden. That’s how I spend my time. I don’t spend my time trying to smear other Republicans.”

I love it. This is exactly how he should have responded. Classy.

I like the fact that DeSantis won’t even mention Trump by name in his response. Instead he lumps him in with ‘other Republicans’.

DeSantis clearly isn’t going to let Trump bait him into a stone throwing match. That’s exactly what Trump wants with these ridiculous attacks and he’s not going to get it.
