“On behalf of the House of Representatives and the Senate, it is our great privilege to pay tribute to Officer Sicknick with this lying-in-honor ceremony,” continued Speaker Pelosi and Leader Schumer. “May this ceremony and the knowledge that so many mourn with and pray for them be a comfort to Officer Sicknick’s family during this sad time.”

Sicknick deserves honors and recognition for his service and sacrifice.

It is nevertheless unfortunate that it must come under the obvious political machination at work by Pelosi and Schumer, as the left/media/Democrats continue to use the events of January 6th to crack down on all non-leftist thought and actions.

It would be nice to believe Pelosi and Schumer were capable of some human feeling for this tragic death. It would be nice.

*By the way, the (sic) above is because Schumer and Pelosi wrote “internment.” It’s interment. Big difference.
