This is a great example of why the right HAS to keep some toes in the water at that trash website Twitter. I mean, quit Google, Youtube, Facebook, whatever, that’s just fine. It’s good, actually. Rumble is better and Facebook is stupid.
And by all means we should join and support Gettr and Parler and the rest assuming they learn to make their stuff embeddable in blog posts. But the right HAS to keep a foot in the door at Twitter. The thing normal folks hear on the evening news and see in the paper and hear about at work? That’s where it starts. It starts on Twitter and eventually moves up to CNN. That’s how the campaign against Joe Rogan was put in the works in the first place.
This deceptively edited video went HUGE on Twitter. It’s a short trip from there to Jim Acosta, to the rest of the world. That’s how we got people saying “horse dewormer.” Take a look. Both below, the lie and the truth in that order, but watch in whatever order you want.
i'm seeing lots of clips going around of joe rogan saying the n-word, but what the fuck is this???? pic.twitter.com/P9ZMbkdfHr

Compare the edited video clip to make it seem like Joe Rogan was agreeing with this to what he actually said and you'll see: a) how you should treat everything you see with a large dose of skepticism and b) how casually they play with race and racism to smear anyone they dislike: https://t.co/f7o9v7J4Pu

It’s a real problem and there ain’t an easy answer, but until there’s some better way to spread truth we should be glad there are still plenty of people left on Twitter who will like, retweet, or just READ facts over leftist fiction.
I don’t get there much myself, but I do check out stories highlighted on the service by sites like ours and others.
