We’ve locked down a generation. There are kids who are in their third year of missing school, missing out on friends and experiences that they can never get back, missing out on education and learning they’ll have to make up for.
Kids who don’t have homeschool parents, but two working parents unprepared for it. Teachers who they see by computer screen. Classwork that isn’t in a class.
We’ve been hurting kids and unbelievably, the teachers unions want to go ON hurting them. Out of irrational fear or just plain laziness or malice, your guess is as good as mine. At least SOME of it is insane, unreasoning, unscientific fear.
But whatever the cause, you KNOW the situation is bad when even ABC News is forced to listen.
The media are practically choking on this admission. They have cheered Democrats every step of the way, aiding and abetting them without question, insisting that every Democrat covid policy is the right one.
I cannot even imagine what conscientious producer or editor it was that forced Georgie to have to let this be said out loud on his show, but I’d guess it was a working mom.
