Get ready for outrage on the left because Google just donated millions to the same organization that was cited by lefties when trying to punish Chick-fil-A:
CBS SAN FRANCISCO – Google has gifted $1.5 million to The Salvation Army’s efforts fighting homelessness in San Francisco and San Jose, the nonprofit announced Wednesday.
“Google.org is committed to continuing our support for organizations like the Salvation Army to help find solutions to homelessness,” said Adrian Schurr, Bay Area program manager for Google.org, the company’s charitable arm.
When Chick-fil-A was banned from a “Christian” university in Texas, they wrote:
“Trinity’s values of diversity and inclusion and Chick-fil-a’s values regarding the LGBT+ community are mutually exclusive,” the resolution read.
“Chick-fil-a donated 1.8 million dollars to anti-LGBT+ organizations in 2017, such as the Paul Anderson Youth Home, the Salvation Army, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, according to their most recent available tax return,” the resolution cited.
This was also cited when the city of San Antonio banned Chick-fil-A from their airport restaurants.
So I’m quite sure that the left will be outraged over this hefty Google donation of even more money to the Salvation Army.
