Yesterday we reported on how Grinch Fauci suggested it may be necessary to cancel Christmas if we don’t get the numbers back up or something.
Today he reportedly flip-flopped again, now wishing everyone a “good, normal Christmas with your family”, via a CNN reporter:
Dr. Fauci: “I will be spending Christmas with my family. I encourage people — particularly the vaccinated people who are protected — to have a good, normal Christmas with your family.”

As I noted above, here are the responses mocking Fauci for his quick and predictable about face:
A lot of science changed between yesterday and today. https://t.co/5r9Dc6OfPm

The science changed in 12 hours. Or he's dangerously full of shit and needs to retire. Whichever. https://t.co/BbJcN34XlW

Well, well, well….this is the first time we have Lord Farquaad tuck his tail between his legs since his potentate's ascendancy. Did he finally find a down power line not even he could trapeze, or is this a sign his welcome is about worn out? https://t.co/QjQKoTU8af

UPDATE: Here’s video of Fauci claiming that people took him out of context, where the original reporting came from:
No, he wasn’t taken out of context and he wasn’t asked what to expect. He was asked specifically if “we can gather for Christmas” and he answered that it’s too soon to tell.
