“My doctor prescribed it. My pharmacy had it. Took it that day and within two to three days I was able to breathe,” Democratic New York City Councilman Paul Vallone told the press. “Within a week I was back on my feet.”
Those are the words of a Covid survivor in New York, city councilman and DEMOCRAT who has complicating factors, including a disease that depresses his immune response, saying that hydroxychloroquine saved his life.
CNN treats the drug as a literal poison, a deadly killer being foisted on desperate people by evil Trump and his legion of dedicated villain doctors in order to get rich off of death. One of the many fearmongering things they say is that it is harmful to weak immune systems, but guess not.
Vallone and his brother, a former councilman who is also a JUDGE, are convinced of the drug, and more than that, of the base motivations of bad people trying to paint it as poison.
“We were in panic mode when I went down because I didn’t have a lot of immune response,” he said. “I needed something to stay alive.”
Hydroxychloroquine “worked for me.”
Vallone’s brother Peter, a former City Councilman and a current civil court judge in Queens, also became a convert after his brother’s illness.
“I guess all those doctors who are prescribing it are right. This drug is already on the market and the patent is up so it’s cheap. A new drug won’t be. So big money does not want this drug to be used. Always follow the money,” Peter Vallone said in a May 12 Facebook post, sharing a link to an NYU study touting the drug.
“[It] saved my life,” Paul Vallone said in the comments.
AND this Democrat is grateful to Trump for not being afraid to praise the treatment, among the other treatments he has praised.
“At that time, there was only fear and panic, he offered hope in a possible treatment when there was none. With my sarcoidosis and then my COVID symptoms, It basically saved me. For that my family will always be thankful,” he told the New York Post.
Sharing the story, Mark Levin wonders how many people would be alive right now if not for the campaign of disinformation and fearmongering set about by the MSM.

The efficacy of a treatment for Covid should be a matter for medical science, and prescribing it should be between a doctor and patient. It’s not a matter of political games. If a patient recovers and credits that drug, they should not be vilified for touting the treatment that helped them LIVE. You don’t have to go prescribe it yourself to report impartially and without prejudice about something to apolitical and important.
These are things CNN reporters ought to know, but don’t seem to.
