This morning Trump tweeted a couple on North Korea, one of which suggests he is very optimistic that Kim Jong Un will accept denuclearization and peace:
For years and through many administrations, everyone said that peace and the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula was not even a small possibility. Now there is a good chance that Kim Jong Un will do what is right for his people and for humanity. Look forward to our meeting!

And then…
Received message last night from XI JINPING of China that his meeting with KIM JONG UN went very well and that KIM looks forward to his meeting with me. In the meantime, and unfortunately, maximum sanctions and pressure must be maintained at all cost!

I’m not sure if Trump is trying to put on an optimistic public face for the sake that Kim Jong Un might actually be serious about denuclearization, or if he really and truly believes that Un wants this. The latter would make Trump look very gullible in my opinion, which is kinda how this reads to me. I hope that’s not the case.
After all, we know for sure this isn’t what Bolton believes because we’ve heard him express himself on the upcoming meeting, and he believes it is absurd to think that in year 26 N. Korea wants to denuclearize.
In other tweet news…
Trump also tweeted this today as well in response to the John Paul Stevens article yesterday:
THE SECOND AMENDMENT WILL NEVER BE REPEALED! As much as Democrats would like to see this happen, and despite the words yesterday of former Supreme Court Justice Stevens, NO WAY. We need more Republicans in 2018 and must ALWAYS hold the Supreme Court!

Now that’s a tweet I can get behind.
