Michael Cohen’s lawyer CONFIRMS that Michael Cohen lied to Congress!

Two days ago we told you about a report that Michael Cohen’s lawyers asked Trump’s legal team about a pardon after his house was raided by the FBI, suggesting Cohen lied during his testimony before Congress.

Well now it’s been confirmed by Cohen’s own lawyer, Lanny Davis, that he was the one who told his lawyers to ask Trump’s legal team about a pardon:

FOX NEWS – A lawyer representing former Trump attorney Michael Cohen said Wednesday that Cohen directed a lawyer last year to inquire about possibly receiving a pardon from President Trump.

The disclosure by Lanny Davis, first reported by the Wall Street Journal, contradicted testimony by Cohen last week on Capitol Hill, in which Cohen told members of the House Oversight and Reform Committee: “I have never asked for, nor would I accept, a pardon from Mr. Trump.”

In a written statement, Davis said Cohen “directed his attorney” to ask about a possible pardon. The newspaper adds that it previously reported that Stephen Ryan, a past attorney for Cohen, discussed a pardon with President Trump’s lawyers in the weeks after FBI agents raided Cohen’s home, office and hotel room.

It’s pretty amazing when your own lawyer confirms that you lied before Congress.

Cohen will probably play the semantic game, suggesting that he personally never asked Trump about it. But that’s nonsense, considering he directed his lawyers to do so on his behalf.

So he lied about the pardon and also lied about wanting a job in the White House. Dude just can’t stop lying under oath!
