Michelle Malkin interviewed the two men who were beaten by the Rose City Antifa thugs over the weekend and tells their story:

I wonder if CNN’s Chris Cuomo or Don Lemon will still be praising Antifa after all of this?

  1. This is the lawyer that is representing James damore against Google.

    Harmeet K. Dhillon (@pnjaban) Tweeted:
Goodnight everyone except Antifa criminals who I plan to sue into oblivion and then sow salt into their yoga studios and avocado toast stands until nothing grows there, not even the glimmer of a violent criminal conspiracy aided by the effete impotence of a cowed city government. https://twitter.com/pnjaban/status/1145597621622341632?s=17

  2. They won’t stop until it starts costing them lives. Go to the free speech rally armed to the teeth. One balloon gets thrown, start dropping em. Get them down, start Riverdancing on their spines. Turn them into Chris Reeve. Maybe then they’ll get the message.

    1. @chow-yun-fatty If Antifa keeps this up that’s going to happen one day. A lone gunner probably.

    2. Want to make sure I understand. You think it a good idea to go to a rally expecting violence and “armed to the teeth” and if someone so much as throws a balloon, you want to physically assault them, break their spines, and paralyze them for life? And you think this will somehow “get the message” across to them?

Surely you understand that this attitude – on both sides – is exactly why this nonsense keeps happening, right?

It is British football hoodlums all over again. Both sides show up expecting violence and ready (and hoping) to blame the other side, and low-and-behold they get their wish. Idiotic all around.

      1. A balloon filled with acid? You’re damn right. And I hope they go begging for their mothers.

        1. What balloon filled with acid? You just making things up now? There were no balloons filled with acid, and it is looking more and more like there were no cement laced milkshakes, either. But don’t let the facts get in the way of your Rambo fantasies.

  3. Is it possible for these victims to bring a lawsuit against the City of Portland and, in particular, Gauleiter Wheeler?

  4. the precinct is 130 officers short because no one wants to work for Portland PD

    Ya think???

    1. In Texas the governor would have called in a Ranger.

      Just one.

      “One riot, one ranger.”

  5. @wolfsbane I do remember. Chicago under Richard J. Daley was probably as corrupt as antifa.

  6. It sickens me to see these photos are realize the police did not stop this – though they knew it was coming. The future is looking very dark.

  7. Don’t expect any democrat condemning the actions of Anitfa. That not only condone it but support it. These are the storm troopers of the Democrat Socialist Party, once known, as the democrat party. After the debates last week and the attacks on conservatives is why the 2nd Amendment is needed. You cannot depend on the Police. The Portland Police just watched while these people were being assaulted. The Portland Police are no better than Antifa..

    1. @trytothink He had already been arrested for using a slingshot on people. He should have been in jail.

  8. https://bigleaguepolitics.com/busted-keith-ellison-photographed-with-portland-antifa-leader-deletes-pro-antifa-tweet/

“As a result of his criminal actions as the leader of Portland ANTIFA, Luis Enrique Marquez was booked into the Multonomah County Jail and Conditionally released June 30, 2018 having been charged with two counts of theft (one 2nd degree and one 3rd degree) and 3rd degree assault per Jail Employee ID 93275.”

Catch that- 2 counts of theft, one 2nd degree, one 3rd degree, and 3rd degree assault. That’s it after leading his gang of domestic terrorists into violent attacks.

Also, Antifa is planning attacks with muriatic acid filled balloons to blind as many people as possible at the July 6 Free Speech rally in DC-

    https://bigleaguepolitics.com/new-antifa-threatens-free-speech-rally-with-acid-attack-promises-to-blind-attendees/

    1. Information about charging descrection in his case reminds me of why many of us were screaming about the criminal justice reform Lee and others pushed through. He would be an example of somebody they said should be let out for a second chance as he was a nonviolent or low level offender. Thanks for the link Scope.

    2. @scope-formerly-pinecone

Antifa is planning attacks with muriatic acid filled balloons to blind as many people as possible at the July 6 Free Speech rally in DC

Then there need to be police there proactively. Anyone that shows up with a mask should be frisked for any kind of weapon. I just don’t understand why there are no police around at these things.

      1. Kong- According to the article, security at the event on July 6 has been beefed up. I have the feeling that their are going to be so many from the right in DC for all of the events, and since Antifa has already made it known they will be there, no doubt the bikers and so many other’s will be there. I hope it doesn’t turn into another Charlottesville.

        1. @scope-formerly-pinecone Antifa is pushing for that to happen. One of these days someone’s going to be prepared and start dropping those thugs where they stand.

  9. Look, I get that this is awful, upsetting, and wrong – but we already know the antifa story. They’re violent thugs that are being allowed to run around with impunity. We keep voicing it and voicing it, and it continues to be ignored. The victims have no recourse, because they can’t identify their attackers (which, btw, is a greater wrong than the actual assault).

If we’re going to effect change on this front, we have to stop shouting in outrage at the violence – and turn our attention to its roots. In this case, the cameras need to be up the Mayor’s ass and on every cop in the city. Where ARE they? Why aren’t they there? Why is nothing being done by the force that’s supposed to keep this from happening?

You put the spotlight on them, and then maybe we’ll start to see some positive action. But just showcasing the victims and the attackers? That does nothing meaningful.

    Still love you Malkin.

    1. The spotlight IS on them. Showing these guys and talking to them puts it out there that cops did nothing. Ted Cruz is now involved. Pshh, AT.

      1. That’s an allegation. It seems to have some legs because you never see any cops in the videos – but one could interpret that as it occurring during response time. After all, the cops DID eventually show up and talk to them, and take a few people into custody.

But if you get videos of a cop standing and doing nothing while a guy is brained with a socklock? THAT’S power.

    2. Look at the footage beyond what is posted here. I can’t say they did their job, but the cops were there in force. Many with riot gear. They used gas. They launched “less lethal” projectiles. They dispersed a number of crowds, or the same crowd on multiple occasions.

Judging by many of the videos and reports, the cops were trying to keep the sides separate and obviously they didn’t get it done. There were two protests going on at different sides of the square. One was the “Proud Boys” and “Patriot Prayer” and at another part a small group (couple of dozen) organized by Haley Adams. The latter group left (or was dispersed), then came back. People were on the move. And law enforcement failed to control what was obviously a potentially volatile situation.

  10. Hey Proud Boys, where were you?
It does my heart good every time I see one of those thugs put to sleep by your group!
    Keep fighting …

  11. DHS Finally Declare Antifa ‘Terrorist Organization’

On the DHS website, the group is described as a “subset anarchist movement” who focus on political and ideologic beliefs not consistent with their own radical leftism by inciting violence across the United States.

DHS reports: Self-described Antifa groups have been established across the United States and in several major cities, including New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, and San Francisco. A majority of New Jersey-based anarchist groups are affiliated with the Antifa movement and are opposed to “fascism,” racism, and law enforcement. Antifa groups coordinate regionally and have participated in protests in New York City and Philadelphia.

  12. All of the victims were on the right, nobody was hurt at all on the fascist Democrat voting side which showed up to assault people. That says it all right there despite the MSM trying to spin it as two groups going at each other, the ones who showed up to cause trouble and assault people was ANTIFA.

  13. Something has to be done about Antifa. Round ’em all up. Arrest any of them with masks on suspicion of attempted murder. Sad when you have to take a weapon and a football helmet to a street protest just to protect yourself.

  14. @wolfsbane I do remember. Chicago under Richard J. Daley was probably as corrupt as antifa.

    1. @tracy Fat Chance. They’re all too busy giving away everything under the sun to get votes.

  17. Now some moron associated with CAIR is attacking Michelle Malkin. Wow, CAIR and antifa. Bed buddies. Hmm.

  18. Look, I get that this is awful, upsetting, and wrong – but we already know the antifa story. They’re violent thugs that are being allowed to run around with impunity. 19. Really nice of you to go Alaska and ensure remote villages, population 100, have equal access to the law/law enforcement.

Meanwhile, your FBI is a dumpster fire of criminals and cities like Portland are steps away from a Lord of the Flies type disaster. But you do you Barr.

    1. Did you even bother to look at any of the media? There was a lot of police presence, in riot gear, using gas and “less lethal” projectiles to disperse the crowd. People who want to brawl are going to find a way.

      1. Sure I did, I don’t care. Enough is enough of this madness. Take the Mayor with them.

      2. As M. Hurlot said, “Time to send in the National Guard and round up these terrorists.”

  24. “Both John & Adam were beaten by Antifa after trying to help a gay man in a sun dress being chased down the street.”

It is amazing with all those video phones rolling no one got footage of these two trying to help the gay man in a sundress being chased down the street. Most of the footage I’ve seen doesn’t really support that version.

Regardless here are a few links to additional photos and videos that help set the tone of this horrific event.

    – Long collection of photos, many showing police presence, and people on both sides behaving badly. Note that at the bottom, Photos 103/107 and 107/107 show the old guy with a beard wielding a retractable metal baton.

    – Article with Video (marked “CONTENT WARNING: A second video shows . . . “) showing lots of action, including the man with red beard who was also involved in additional skirmishes. Note the guy on the ground at the beginning of the video is the same guy who has the shirtless man in a headlock at the top of the article;

    1. Don’t matter you Nazi puke. One had a permit to be there and one didn’t and kept the permitted ones from expressing their 1st amendment rights.

      1. Nazi puke? Godwin’s Law still applies, I see.

I posted some links so people might better understand the circumstances. If fact based knowledge isn’t your thing, no need to click on any of it.

      1. Yes. If people cant assemble peacefully without being attacked then respond with force.

In America we have the right to assemble.

        1. Yes we do have a right to assemble. And so does Antifa. Neither side has the right to “respond with force” if they feel their right of peaceable assembly isn’t being honored.

Let’s be honest, though. In this situation, neither side wants to “peaceably assemble” without confrontation. Why do you think they are doing this in downtown Portland on the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall riots, when and where various leftist activities were planned? Both sides wanted confrontation so they could point their fingers at the other side and say, “See, they are so horrible and i am a victim!”

          1. Neither side has the right to “respond with force” if they feel their right of peaceable assembly isn’t being honored.

You are right – throwing rocks, bricks, milkshakes, robbing isnt honoring a right to assemble.

            1. Great. We agree. Hopefully we also agree that preparing to beat someone with a weapon until they are paralyzed, if they so much as throw a balloon undermines any possible “self-defense” claim.

                1. Still agree. But somehow I get the feeling that you are trying to say, indirectly, that severe beatings are fine if there is any sort of minor provocation.

If so, and if it turns out the old guy started things, are you okay with the beating he took?

                2. I’m not okay with the beating he took regardless.
Some videos show that both sides were throwing things.

                3. No one who throws punches or throws items ( including milkshakes) shouldn’t do so expecting not to get punched back.

Screaming, yelling, gesturing – non violent actions – should not be met with force.

                4. As I’ve said people on both sides were there expecting violence. It is part of the game.

But as to the law, going after someone and beating them until they are paralyzed because they threw a milkshake from a distance isn’t going to cut it as “self-defense.” If there is no continuing danger, it is not self defense. Revenge isn’t self-defense, nor is being provoked into a fight, nor is “teaching them a lesson,” which is what the poster said he would do.

          1. How about dont throw things at people and expect them to just shrug it off?

Is this your good deed today, to defend Antifa?

            1. Not defending Antifa and never will. I abhor violence, and view those throwing sucker punches, group beatings, as kick-and-runs as cowards and losers. Those who used violence are despicable and hopefully they will be prosecuted. And those going to these things expecting and hoping for violence are also despicable. All this applies to both sides. Sometimes people on both sides act like idiots, and this is one of those times.

              1. I agree its abhorrent, but those defending from it arent on the same level as those starting it.

                1. Perhaps. But, it is not at all clear who started any of these confrontations. The videos always miraculously start in the middle of the melee, right before the alt-right “victim” begins to get beat up. Obviously things have happened up to that point, right? So why start the video there?

Take the old guy, for example. He is pictured in the previous thread in a stand-off/ stare-down with antifa, leaning in with his face inches from the kid across from him. And even in the videos of his beating, he seems to be advancing on someone in the antifa crowd, and photos show that he was wielding a retractable metal baton. He was sprayed with pepper spray while advancing, yet he keeps going and ends up wrapping up an antifa from behind with his hands locked around the antifa’s waste. He is being hit from behind by a number of antifa including by one wielding a white cane.

So who started it? You tell me? Why was he advancing into a crowd of antifa? Why was he wielding a weapon? Was that in response to him being pepper sprayed? Or was he pepper sprayed because he was advancing at antifa wielding a retractable baton? And why did he grab the antifa from behind?

So you tell me? Who started it? I honestly do not know. My inclination is that both sides were looking for trouble and both sides found it.

                2. Except there are no stories of antifa thugs in hospital or being wounded in any way. antifa are trash. Thuggish trash.

                3. There have been such stories in the past. And deaths too. And eight people were treated after this incident. Are you sure that they were all alt-right?

It is a lot like with your pal, fake-Tommy Robinson. There are thugs on both sides, with each side trying to provoke the other, so they can play victim.

                4. Tommy lives in your head rent-free. Just the fact that you think these guys were ‘alt-right’ tells me a great deal about you and where you’re coming from.

                5. Well fake-Tommy should be grateful. The way he’s been going lately, he could probably use a rent-free place to live. Besides prison, I mean.

As for the term “alt-right,” surely you aren’t saying that the creeps who ran over the girl in Charlotte are part of the mainstream right, are you? Or the proud boys, with their harassment and shenanigans, like the beatings they handed out in NYC not too long ago? Seriously? It just doesn’t seem fair to lump the these fringy creeps in with law abiding conservatives. That you identify with so many of these people (here and abroad) says something about where you are coming from, and it isn’t anything like the tradition of American conservatism.

                6. As if you understand American conservatism. 😆 ‘These people’? Oh, yeah, now I’m a nazi. You just keep revealing more and more to me.

                7. Didn’t say you were a Nazi, but you seem to identify with a lot of unsavory characters who are well outside of what used to be considered American conservatism. If you don’t share their viewpoints, then maybe you you should learn to pick your battles.

                8. That’s a classic there. Associate me with ‘these people’ and then deny what you meant. You’re almost textbook. And not fooling anyone.

                9. You can’t be serious. Review the above, beginning where you wrote, “Just the fact that you think these guys were ‘alt-right’ tells me a great deal about you and where you’re coming from.” This after I mentioned the murderers in Charlotte and fake-Tommy.

I’ve been very specific with to whom I am referring. Either you see eye to eye with them, or you don’t. I have no idea. All I know is that every time we cross, you seem to be standing with them. Or attacking me for calling them out.

            1. LOL. So that’s how you know that antifa is planning to throw acid on people? Because some fringy fake-conspiracy websites claim that some idiot created an anonymous account on a far-right chat board and immediately posted, rapid fire, a bunch of inflammatory and threatening crap, so the co-creator of the site (who just happens to know quite a lot about the science behind the threat)could turn around and do everything he could to publicize this new terrible threat. Seriously? Are you really this gullible? Or are you choosing to be this gullible because it suits your purposes? Which do you suppose is most likely:
              A) Some alt-right a-hole made it up because people like you are so gullible, and so it plays well against the left.
              B) Some leftist a-hole made it up to mess with the right, because people like you are so gullible that such things play well against the right.
              C) There really is a plan in place, and Antifa has obtained and is planning to use the wax covered balloons filled with Muriatic acid, and this mastermind didn’t see the harm in tipping the opposition off, and thus spoiling, to the entire scheme.

              Don’t be a rube.

As for the other nonsense, reality obviously is a stranger to you.

              1. Sure thing, sizzurp. Don’t type too many of your manifestos, your going to need energy in your hands for tonight.

  26. The commies of the ’60s are now the leadership in the DNC, tenured professors at universities, and MSM talking heads.

  27. I believe I heard someone in the crowd yelling “stop!”. There were also a couple of masked guys trying to protect him. They know what that group is capable of so I don’t get why they would join it if they don’t want targets to be bloodied up.

Antifa is a terrorist organization. I’m sure they know the names of many of it’s members. IMO they should be able to round them all up and throw them in prison just for being a member of a terrorist organization.

    1. Can you explain what he was doing, from the video or otherwise. I just don’t get that. For example he is most definitely advancing toward them in one of the videos, and there are photos of him wielding a retractable metal baton. And in the videos he had one of the antifa wrapped up from behind with his arms locked around him, and appears to be trying to drag him. So what do you think he was trying to do?

Yes, the people who hit him with a cane and bloodied him are despicable, and I do hope this guy recovers quickly. But I still don’t understand what the hell he was trying to do? Does he seem like an an innocent bystander in this situation to you?

      1. @t_ump Apparently him and another guy were trying to help a gay man being chased down the street by the thugs. They were there to listen to a speaker from what I understand. I haven’t seen photos showing him with a baton, but that doesn’t really mean he used it as a weapon as opposed to just keeping it for self defense if trouble arises…as it did. The only assaults I see are being done to him. There’s no video of him assaulting anyone else.

As far as him wrapping himself around another guy…he was just trying to keep from getting pummeled. It looks to me like the guy he has his arms wrapped around is trying to escort him out of the situation along with another masked guy behind him (it’s so chaotic it’s hard to tell). There was another guy that came up from the left that tried to help and he got hit in the head as well and got bloodied up.

        1. That’s the story, but the videos and photos don’t seem to support it all. You’d think with all the cameras someone would have caught this brave rescue effort on video. What the photos and the video do show is that the guy in the red beard was putting himself in the middle of other altercations as well. And they show the old guy with the white hair brandishing the weapon while going after antifa. Now whether it was in self-defense or not, I don’t know and neither do you. But the videos clearly show him advancing on them, and not the other way around. As for your explanation for him grabbing antifa, it is a bit far fetched don’t you think? Watch the videos, he’s got the guy good, is trying to pull him, and the guy is struggling to get away. And the old guy was doing far more than listening to “speakers.” Didn’t you see the photo of him from the last thread where he is on the front line, literally, inches a way from antifa, and trying to stare him down?

And who exactly was the “gay guy” dressed in a sundress supposedly running from, anyway? Antifa? Seems unlikely, don’t you think? There are photos and videos of a guy dressed in a sundress but he was there protesting the presence of the right, not antifa.

You are being fed a very small slice of what happened, and accepting it all without critically examining in the least. I don’t know all of what happened or why it happened, and I wish the old guy hadn’t been beat up, but it is obvious that the story being presented by Malkin is inaccurate, incomplete, and more than just a little misleading. Some of those on the right were there to fight.

          1. @t_ump And you’re drawing conclusions with a very small slice of what happened. There were many Antifa thugs going after very few people. All of the assaults we see on video are coming from the Antifa thugs, so everything else you say is pure speculation and drawing conclusions off something you think is “unlikely”. I find it highly unlikely that three people would attack a large group of heavily armed thugs.

ALL of the assaults were committed by Antifa thugs. You saying that we don’t know that for sure is speculative and not on video. It’s formulating a way to defend the Antifa thugs.

            1. First, I’m not drawing conclusions about who started things, because I don’t know. You are. The only conclusion I am drawing is that some of those on the right were there to mix it up, because of course. In one video a guy from the right is on the ground getting beaten pretty good, and by the end of the video he’s about ready to voluntarily square off with another Antifa who offered to fight him “one-on-one” and the guy with the red beard is right them with him! The same guy is also pictured having some other guy in a headlock in yet another skirmish! There are also photos of heavily armored men from the right using their flagpoles as weapons. So please, quit pretending that no one from the right was there to mix it up. They obviously were.

Second, you obviously haven’t bothered to even look at much of what is out there that is relevant to this instance, otherwise you’d know the old guy had a weapon and was trying to use it. So don’t tell me about thin slices of information. You choose to only look at what is presented to you here. There is more information out there, but you choose ignorance.

Third, it wasn’t just three people. There were other skirmishes going on at the same time, and many of those guys with masks weren’t antifa, they were from the right. Even the woman on the right who organized the event put on a face scarf and helmet at one point. Was she antifa too? Again if you’d bothered to look into it you’d know all this.

  28. But, I was told these guys had it coming for bringing a defensive weapon to a highly volatile free speech march where fascist thugs are known to assault peaceful attendees.

        1. @agesilaos I think that it’s a brand new Annie, but you’re right on the mark.

          1. It’s definitely a prog/leftist troll of some sort, too bad there isn’t a block function on wordpress.

  29. https://bigleaguepolitics.com/busted-keith-ellison-photographed-with-portland-antifa-leader-deletes-pro-antifa-tweet/

      1. Will- I don’t know exactly what actions Marquez took himself, or if he just just ordered his fellow terrorists to do the actual attacking, like a total coward. The attacks were most definitely not non-violent. It sounds like Marquez was the one who stole Ngo’s camera equipment.

I do really hope that the DOJ does do an investigation, and Marquez and his fellow comrades are brought up on federal charges, along with their top supporter the Mayor.

        1. Yes I hope so as well. I’m thinking between the exposure and Cruz speaking out, the pressure to intervene by the Feds will ratchet up hopefully.

          1. Amb. Grennel has also contacted the DOJ and requested a full investigation on the attacks on his friend Ngo. I would find it hard to believe that Barr’s DOJ would just allow all this to blow over.

            1. I was pleased when I saw that as well. I see the rest of the cowardly GOP senators are in hiding as usual.

    2. Also, Antifa is planning attacks with muriatic acid filled balloons to blind as many people as possible at the July 6 Free Speech rally in DC-

Any of these evil cur caught attempting this should be immediately wiped off the face of the Earth.

    1. @trytothink He had already been arrested for using a slingshot on people. He should have been in jail.

  30. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Political correctness needs to STOP and AMERICANS need to RISE ABOVE THE CIRCUMSTANCES and DEMAND better of their elected officials. Antifa needs to be held accountable. The mayor needs to be impeached. Oregonians need to be angry as he11 and demand he be removed from office and the POLICE should get back to the work they were trained to do, serve the public.

May God heal these men quickly and without any repercussions from their injuries.

    Disgusting!

  31. Now some moron associated with CAIR is attacking Michelle Malkin. Wow, CAIR and antifa. Bed buddies. Hmm.

    1. He has been all over this. He had quote from Lemon who apparently said something like No organization is perfect.

  33. That so many in the media keep making excuses for an openly violent and openly Marxist organization should tell you everything you need to know.

Too many in our media are literal Marxists and are indeed the enemies of the people.

  34. Really nice of you to go Alaska and ensure remote villages, population 100, have equal access to the law/law enforcement.

Meanwhile, your FBI is a dumpster fire of criminals and cities like Portland are steps away from a Lord of the Flies type disaster. But you do you Barr.

  35. It’s going to happen, good decent people are going to fight back and these masked cowards won’t like the results.

    1. Agreed. And it won’t stop with Antifa, either. It’ll spread to their enablers, their funding, supportive businesses… The backlash will be epic.

When the silent right gets enough they usually call it a World War.

  36. Democrats demand Trump personally apologize for white supremist thugs. Okay Democrats, who will apologize for these thugs?

    1. Everyone who stood on those debate stages for two nights should apologize or express outrage at this and at the Mayor if they were POTUS worthy. But they won’t because they aren’t interested in the 2/3 of the country that isn’t liberal.

    1. Many areas of the country the mayor is also the police commissioner this is not unusual @pmb88

      1. That’s true @ruthiedoggiemom – but I personally don’t think it’s a good idea unless it’s a very small city.

Although from all accounts the police commissioner is usually a politician and will do what ever is politically expedient.

  37. Is it possible for these victims to bring a lawsuit against the City of Portland and, in particular, Gauleiter Wheeler?

  38. Lawless thugs roam the streets, masked in their cowardice, and the Mayor of Portland does nothing. That this criminally neglectful Mayor is also the police commissioner is a crime in itself.

American citizens on the left coast are only safe if they agree with the politics of whoever sits in the Mayor’s or Governor’s office it seems.

That sure doesn’t sound anti-fascist to me.

      1. @Joe Pein – that is it precisely. To label these people who act like fascists anti-fascist is preposterous!

I can label myself an Oldsmobile but that don’t make it so. Although truth to tell I do have a lot of miles on my odometer.

        1. I’ve got “high mileage” myself. I also suffer from TMB. That’s one of them dreaded co-morbidities: Too Many Birthdays.

          1. Hey @Joe Pein – TMB beats No More Birthdays so I celebrate everyday that the good Lord gives me. I may not do much else anymore but I am still a reliable vote against crazy. Well against the most crazy. Sometimes that’s the choice.

    1. This is how authoritarians act when they have lower level power. They green-light attacks and then feign an inability to do anything about it. The police turned a blind eye to Kristalnacht, when they weren’t joining in. In certain parts of the US, police would deliberately overlook the activities of the KKK. In Mexico, entire police departments just evaporated rather than tackle the narco cartels supported by corrupt politicians. Even today in Russia, gangs can assault gays at will because the police will refuse to get involved.

      1. You are exactly right. When all the laws are not enforced for all the people you have tyranny and chaos.

When you have “poop” maps in a major American city and ANTIFA Thugs roaming free in another you have a nation in trouble.

Add in a major political party that is more concerned with aiding illegal aliens than vets and it is obvious that their compassion for others is total bull-excrement.

  39. Don Lemon said something along the lines of every organization having some bad individuals as if this is not the core of Antifa. The most lighthearted take I saw was somebody sarcastically tweeting in response to this horrific video, that the PD would have stopped this except moments before they got a call that a restaurant was handing out plastic straws and all raced to the scene. Wondering how long good police are going to be willing to stand down and allow these thugs to destroy the city and their reputations.

        1. Since I am a full-fledged member in good standing of the “I hate snakes” club – I agree that ANTIFA and snakes are alike.

I have had Ophidiophobia, fear of snakes phobia, all my life and am not about to change now. Also hated fascists all my life and that’s a hate I will not change either.

    1. @willtapp – funny how Don Lemon doesn’t grant the Republican groups the same. He spends so much time up on his high horse about right-leaning people his stupidity is probably caused, to some extend, by lack of oxygen to his tiny, little brain.

      1. Yes @kenoshamarge but don’t you know that CNN is fair and balanced? 😉 That’s according to my indoctrinated mother. She’s definitely taken the blue pill and lives in the Matrix.

        1. How sad for you, and for her. I have a couple of granddaughters like that. I just acknowledge my love for them and pray they will come to see the truth. Must have been some knucklehead gens on the other side of the family in my case and is you father a dyed-in-the-wool lefty?

As for CNN – as old as I am I’m afraid my mother would come back from the grave to wash my mouth out with soap, as she did so often when I was young, if I said what I think about CNN. And euphemisms just don’t work as well as expletives do they? 😉

          1. @kenoshamarge My father is a died-in-the-wool Rush Limbaugh Republican. He was listening to Rush from the very beginning. My 88-year old Dad was a 25 year veteran of the St. Paul Police force. He had to deal with the Black Panthers back in the day when they assassinated one of his partners, James Sackett in the 1970’s.

Here’s the info on that shooting:
            https://www.odmp.org/officer/11682-police-officer-james-t-sackett-sr

Things haven’t changed, just the names of the leftist groups that do violence.

    2. It would probably only take one shot fired into the air to make these cockroaches flee.

      1. @joyfulgiver Yes, and they would most likely be arrested, charged with God only knows ridiculous charges and be put away for years. That’s how insane the political left has become. These “antifa” terrorists are literally getting away with attempted murder with a slap on the wrist. They are the ones who need to be put away, but in this highly charged environment, the only people they would prosecute would actually be someone defending themselves with a gun. 😡

      2. @joyfulgiver – you got that right. Cowards who hide behind masks would also be less apt to be so confrontational with others who carried crowbars and other “weapons”. You named them right – cockroaches.

    3. This PD is understaffed by 100+ because nobody wants to work for the commissioner.

    4. @willtapp I heard that the Portland PD is short 130 officers because they can’t get them to work in Portland because of this crap. If I was an officer, I’d get out of there if I was not allowed to do my job. I’ve seen many videos of officers in Seattle, LA and San Francisco where they are trying their best, but when they arrest people, the next day they’re back out on the street so they get tired of risking their lives only to be thwarted by the political hierarchy.

In fact, if you haven’t seen the documentary “Seattle is Dying,” I highly recommend it because we are seeing the same thing in LA and San Francisco and more leftist enclaves in the country.

    5. @willtapp Yeah, I remember that a road back in Illinois was adopted by a coven of witches. I guess that they were good witches.

  40. This has gone way beyond too far. The mayor should be removed from office and the Governor should send in the National Guard or also leave office.

    1. @rocket-matt The governor is the same one who wants to lock up Republicans in the State Senate

      1. The same one that shut down the capitol over a “militia threat”?

Well there’s the answer right there.

    2. @Rocket Matt – that would be the right thing to do. But we’re talking about a 3rd world state and thus thugs rule and the rulers allow the citizenry to be terrorized for the crime of not being ignorant left-wingers or illegals.

  41. the precinct is 130 officers short because no one wants to work for Portland PD

    Ya think???

    1. In Texas the governor would have called in a Ranger.

      Just one.

      “One riot, one ranger.”

    1. @tracy you gotta be freaking kidding! Granted it was 2017, but Antifa violence goes that far back as well. What is wrong with this Mittens guy? He’s like the RINO trolls on here that keep making a moral equivalence or arguing that Antifa terrorists are just random people who happen to shop at the same “riot gear” store.

      1. I brought him up the other day and did not have the date/year so glad Tracy put it out because some thought I was unfair to dear Mittens I think, but as you point out Antifa has been violent for years.

    2. I stopped caring what Romney had to say a long time ago. He’s just another sore loser like Hillary only with better hair.

    3. Not a peep from him or Rubio who also praised them at the time. Wondering where Sasse is as well as he is usually out front and center on twitter.

Note that at the bottom, Photos 103/107 and 107/107 show the old guy with a beard wielding a retractable metal baton.
    http://s.oregonlive.com/qZiyfID

    – Article with Video (marked “CONTENT WARNING: A second video shows . . . “) showing lots of action, including the man with red beard who was also involved in additional skirmishes. Note the guy on the ground at the beginning of the video is the same guy who has the shirtless man in a headlock at the top of the article;

    1. Don’t matter you Nazi puke. One had a permit to be there and one didn’t and kept the permitted ones from expressing their 1st amendment rights.

  43. The commies of the ’60s are now the leadership in the DNC, tenured professors at universities, and MSM talking heads.

  45. But, I was told these guys had it coming for bringing a defensive weapon to a highly volatile free speech march where fascist thugs are known to assault peaceful attendees.

  46. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Political correctness needs to STOP and AMERICANS need to RISE ABOVE THE CIRCUMSTANCES and DEMAND better of their elected officials. Antifa needs to be held accountable.
