Sometimes I really just don’t know what people are thinking when the approve this crap for use in a school where the student ages are 11-13 years old. It’d be bad enough to be on a college campus, but approved for a Middle School? Just unbelievable:
FOX NEWS – A Kansas father said he was shocked after he discovered his 13-year-old daughter’s health curriculum included references to vaginal intercourse, anal sex, and touching each other’s genitals.
“I got furious,” Mark Ellis, of Shawnee, Kan., told me. “And I’m still worked up about it.”
Ellis’ daughter is an eighth grade student at Hocker Grove Middle School in the Shawnee Mission School District. Last week, she came home from school and showed her parents a photograph she had taken of a poster on a classroom door.
“How do people express their sexual feelings?” the poster read. Underneath the question was a list of possible answers. Some were G-rated, like hugging, holding hands and talking. But there were also some NC-17 answers like “vaginal intercourse, anal sex, touching each other’s genitals, oral sex, sexual fantasy and caressing.”
Ellis told me the sexual acts listed on the poster were “outrageous for 13-year-old children.”
“I looked at my wife, we looked at each other and I was hoping it was a prank a student had pulled,” he said.
On Monday, Ellis discovered that not only was the poster legitimate, it was also part of the approved curriculum at the middle school.
“It makes me wonder what our country has come to when kids get something like this thrown in front of them,” he said.
Ellis spoke at length with the principal and another school district official who went to great lengths to defend the sex poster. Since the district failed to see the problem, he decided to contact the Fox television affiliate in Kansas City.
District spokesperson Leigh Anne Neal told Fox 4 News the poster is part of their abstinence-based health curriculum. However, she said, the poster needed to be viewed in the context of a bigger curriculum.
“The poster that you reference is actually part of our middle school health and science materials, and so it is a part of our district approved curriculum,” Neal told the television station. “However, the item is meant to be part of a lesson, and so certainly as a standalone poster without the context of a teacher-led discussion, I could see that there might be some cause for concern.”

I do believe it is the parents responsibility to show up and that school and take that perverted sign down and give the faculty adn administration h3|| for putting it up there. If it is replaced then the child should be moved out of that school.

Our kids were being taught that America is a Democracy. That flew all over me, so I contacted the teacher and informed her that America is indeed a Constitutional Republic. Well she could have cared less and stated she had to teach what was in the book. Wow. Took child out of that class and put into another. Our newer crops of “teachers” are no different than the students, only at later stages of leftist brain programming.

I’m appalled but I’m not surprised. Wake up parents…public school is harmful to young people. This is only one more example. My kids are adults now, but I care about all children in the cesspool that is the public school system. It’s enough to make ya spit.
Thank goodness I don’t have children. I am merely angry about this, but if I had children, I would be beyond livid. There is no “context” in which this material would be appropriate. This is instruction in sexual practices. The only instruction that should be given to children in this area is human anatomy and reproductive functions. Period.

Sex is not what kids need their minds filled with. Sex “education” like this, from schools, is intended to get students aroused / curious so their teachers can have sex with them.
Schools are supposed to teach reading, writing, arithmetic, and move up to basic sciences. And they should teach REAL American history and world history. Period.
This is another case where my grade-school principal, the mild-mannered Mrs. Mildred Hurley, would have picked up her umbrella and given those responsible for this a severe beating.

Yeah I just read the whole thing.
As I said on WZ parents need to get more involved and challenge sex ed because much of what is taught is inaccurate.
I’m also going to note that I think this type of curricula opens the door for kids to be sexually groomed.
One thing I’ve noted about this is that it isn’t in a book, or in a handout, or just talked about once in class. This stuff is on a poster which is there catching the kids’ eyes ALL DAY. It’s to desensitize and to groom.
Our church used to rent a middle school for our Sunday service. One of the set-up team’s jobs was to cover up posters like these before any kids came in to their Sunday school classroom.
Yep and Hollywood who claims to love children does a fine job of grooming kids as well.
This is so inappropriate. All the more reason to take our kids out of public school.
And/or get DC out of our public schools. My town would run the schools doing a much better job at teaching our children what they need for life.

The parents should be the adults that teach their children about sex. Not our public (government run) schools.
And yet the children, and the decent teachers, get crucified if they mention God.
How about the public schools focus on getting our children to learn history, math, English, etc., and leave sex and other social issues to the parents.

these questions have no business in school…If my kid brought this home I would pull them out of the school the same day. But no one in my family puts their kids in public schools we all split the costs of private and religious schools. All the adults in my family/extended family are paying..we totaled out and split it evenly across the table…Anything to keep them from being poisoned in this liberal indoctrination center.
