Well it didn’t take long for Mike Pence to follow in the flip flop footsteps of the Donald and completely contradict himself on a major policy position!!
Here’s what the Pencenator did:
Donald Trump’s newly appointed running mate Mike Pence walked back harsh comments he made last December bashing the presumptive GOP nominee’s calls to pause immigration from countries affiliated with terrorists.
“I am very supportive of Donald Trump’s call to temporarily suspend immigration from countries where terrorists’ influence and impact represents a threat to the United States,” Pence said.
“I’ve never hesitated to take issue with fellow Republicans, I don’t think things came out quite right or how I would’ve done it. But I want folks to know I strongly agree with Donald Trump’s call. We’ve got to do something different.”
But eight months earlier, Pence went on the record saying Trump’s comments that Muslims should be banned from the country were “offensive and unconstitutional.”
