Joe Biden did a softball interview over the weekend where the interviewer essentially told Biden that he was scared that Republicans are going to win in November.

There’s not even an attempt by Jonathan Capehart to even appear neutral. No he dives right in, telling Biden he’s scared because there a bunch of ‘election deniers’ that might win in November. He’s scared because of all the “concerted attacks on democracy” and “on voting”, highlighting the Office of Election Crimes created by DeSantis which is trying to hold people accountable for voter fraud. And of course he’s looking for Biden to comfort him, asking “why shouldn’t we be scared?”
This is the same interview where Biden momentarily fell asleep and Capeheart had to get his attention.
But the point is that these are the type of softball, kiss-his-butt interviews Biden is doing. He’s not going to do a real interview where he gets challenged on something because he’s afraid it will make him look bad and that’s the last thing he wants before the midterms.
Absolutely pathetic.
