THERE IT IS: Trump confirms they WILL nominate and confirm new SCOTUS pick ‘WITHOUT DELAY’

President Trump has laid to rest the speculation and questions about nominating and confirming a new Supreme Court Justice, following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday.

As Mitch McConnell and Ted Cruz have both stated already, along with many other Republican members of congress, the President said it is his responsibility and that he’ll honor it immediately.

“We were put in this position of power and importance to make decisions for the people who so proudly elected us, the most important of which has long been considered to be the selection of United States Supreme Court Justices,” said the President. “We have this obligation, without delay!”

He is right and they are right and contrary to the crybaby left, it’s not even a contradiction of their past statements. Trump is not a second term, lame duck President. He’s not in office against a majority government from the opposite party. He’s an empowered President with a Republican majority in his first term with a public mandate.

It would be a contradiction and dereliction NOT to make this nomination and push it through without delay. Especially in view of what Cruz said about a crisis last night.
