President Trump tweeted last night his expectations for what will happen today during the joint session of Congress:
If Vice President @Mike_Pence comes through for us, we will win the Presidency. Many States want to decertify the mistake they made in certifying incorrect & even fraudulent numbers in a process NOT approved by their State Legislatures (which it must be). Mike can send it back!

“If Mike Pence comes through for us…”
Trump said last night in a statement that Pence has the power to decertify results and/or send them back to the states for recertification. And he said as much this morning again:
States want to correct their votes, which they now know were based on irregularities and fraud, plus corrupt process never received legislative approval. All Mike Pence has to do is send them back to the States, AND WE WIN. Do it Mike, this is a time for extreme courage!

Trump is really putting a lot of pressure on Mike Pence. But if state legislatures didn’t have the ‘extreme courage’ to recall their electors, then as I’ve said in the past, I just don’t see Mike Pence possessing this kind of ‘extreme courage’ that Trump speaks of here.
Trump will be speaking soon at the rally in DC, where I expect him to put even more pressure on Pence. You can watch that here.
