Trump economic adviser Kevin Hassett went on the Sunday shows this morning with just a rosy, rosy series of statements, including that work is scary, but not to worry, a fifth of you won’t be working by next month anyway. Also who knows when it gets better? Not him!
Contact tracing is a hot issue online. Governors, foreign leaders, and the mainstream media are very for it. Other people are less excited.
Count Hassett among those who think it is great. On CNN this morning he said there is “no downside.”
“There is no downside. In fact, we should use every single test that we can generate,” he said to Jake Tapper. “And that’s something that we’re working overtime on ramping up testing.”
