A continuing series of discussions of Mark Levin’s new book,
The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic
(Discussion #16 – A Few Quick Notes)
It’s still Monday (technically), so we’re on the LAM (Liberty Amendments Monday) once more.
This week it’s gonna be thin fare, in honor of what lies in store for our economy in 2014.
Let us show our recognition that TheRightScoop has won Best Video Site in the 2013 Fabulous 50 blog awards. Scoop has earned it, too. It takes a lot of work to operate a blog with fresh content every day. I’m guessing it takes over your life at some point, and that’s why it’s been great to see that Caleb Howe has joined the effort.
Which reminds me, Caleb has been doing a great job!
We’ve seen a small number of attempts to disparage the Article Five second process by people who have invested a great deal of time in another pathway to restore the Constitution (or by people with some other reasons for throwing a wrench in the works). I won’t link them here, but I invite folks to do their own research on this topic. Don’t be fooled by the authoritative statements being made by many proponents, including me. You have to go to the Source Code and do your own homework.
One red flag to watch for however, is the insistence some people have in claiming our efforts are aimed at holding a “Constitutional Convention.” When you see that in an article, it tells you the writer is so far off the mark that further reading is a waste of time.
Please take the time to review the previous discussions here at TheRightScoop (see the list below), and follow the links. It’s better than watching cable news, and better than arguing with your leftist friends.
Installments will be light for the next few weeks since I’ll be traveling (and also stuck doing end-of-year paperwork I hate to do). However you should look for new articles at ArticleFiveProcess, since I’ll still be working on this.
I wish everyone who reads and comments here, and also Scoop, Caleb, “Duckie”, and Ken a very Happy New Year!
Next year the hunt for Red November takes off, and we’re going to see a Lot more work being done on the Article Five Convention. It’s going to happen. Detractors need to get used to that.
